I’m looking forward to some serious shopping tomorrow! Please keep in mind that we’ll be able to return some items if needed (Zara, Mango). Try not to think about pricing, but instead, what looks appealing to you and what feels good. All the items below are doable with our budget, AND, we’re able to add a bit more to the budget as well, so we don’t have to feel so constricted.

Please take a close look at the items below. We’ll most-likely move through the stores in the order listed (that’s how I wandered through them today). We can place items on hold that work well, and after we’ve seen / tried on everything, we’ll go back and GET’EM!!!

1. New Era (63 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002: (212) 966-4959, also (800) 875-4959)

Burgundy and brown suits available. Mom and pop store. Lovely older couple.
Suits can be tailored same-day. If the fit is not perfect, we can use them for the photoshoot and do an exchange or get more serious tailoring done later.
If you also like the brown, it might be a good idea to have the two options. The tux version was thrown in there just to compare coloring. But if you like it we can discuss!
The suits are a little under $300 each so it’s very manageable!

2. O.N.S Clothing (201 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012: 646-609-2626)

Sale currently in progress.
Dark brown suede loafers ($$)
Beige/tan trousers (two cuts)
Might be a nice option for Navy blazers that are more casual than suits (other Navy blazer options are quite expensive)
Black fitted dress (Naya Rea) I know this is not the color Fiona discussed, but we can take a look in any case.
Black sleeveless fuller-skirt dress (Futur Segno)

3. J.Crew – Store 1 (Crosby & Spring St) (75 Spring St, New York, NY 10012: (332) 275-4656)

Laura: beautiful navy trousers available, but no matching navy vest. However, there’s a white one!
Green vest with matching pants available.
- Laura, these are nicer options (there are less expensive options as some of the stores below).
Some men’s options for sweater, belts, and nice trousers. (more options at Banana and other stores below too).

4. Oak + Fort (68 Spring St, New York, NY 10012; 📞 (347) 868-1436)

Some nice light jacket options for men.
Green dress and creme suit vest for Laura.
Shoe options available.

5. J.Crew – Store 2 (Men’s Shop, Broadway) (484 Broadway, New York, NY 10013; 📞 (212) 343-1227)

This is the separate men's-focused J.Crew store.
Some items directly from Fiona’s list are here (sweater)
The navy and tan jackets are nicer items - something that should last a long time if purchased (note some of the other tan and navy blazer options at other stores too).

6. Zara (222 Broadway, New York, NY 10038)

Lots of options for Laura: dresses in burgundy and brown, also shoes. I might suggest getting several of these dresses, Laura - we can always return the ones you don’t want in the end.
There are also vest / suit options or Laura.
No one was able to help me with the shoe options so I don’t know if a size 6 is available.
Some men’s items, but not many.

Lots of khaki and nice trouser options for men. Also belts.
